Welcome to the brand new Valley Veterinary Hospital!

Dr. Shreiber and his staff are proud to announce the new Valley Veterinary Hospital! A life long dream and passion project made real, Dr. Shreiber has built his new hospital with his mission statement at the core of everything: Care, Commitment, Compassion. His goal in creating this new Valley Vet was to have a place where any and all pet and pet parents needs are met, including the same dedicated care that has kept clients coming to Valley Vet since we first opened our doors, but to also be able to provide services and meet needs for our clients where we couldn't before. Now we can offer doggy daycare, dog training services, luxury all inclusive boarding with veterinarians and techs on staff, pet grooming, and lastly but not least, aquatherapy and dog fitness. As one of our staff members likes to say, this is now "pet central"!

Our practice is now located at 1145 Valley Forge Road—formerly known as the Bull Tavern, and opened Spring 2019. Our new facility offers expanded veterinary services, boarding, daycare, and grooming and more. We are excited to take on this new adventure and are proud to have the most wonderful clients to take the journey with us!

Take a look at our journey over the last few years

Preserving Chester County History

The historic Bull Tavern was built by hand in 1734 to provide food and lodgings to passing travelers. We have a deep respect for the structure's local historical significance, which includes hosting George Washington of the Continental Army and Generals Howe and Cornwallis of the British Army (on separate occasions) during the Revolutionary War.

Since the tavern has undergone various changes to keep up with the changing times, we've decided to restore the building's facade to its original stonework, removing layers of painted stucco in the process. In a sense, we have helped to uncover a historical landmark that has served generations of people. We look forward to it serving many generations more as the new Valley Veterinary Hospital.

Our little piggie Cookie had a fall last night. It was so easy to get an appointment to get her looked at. Dr. Shreiber was very patient in examining her. The office staff and assistants are also very compassionate people. Thank you for making our little Cookie feel better.

The most knowledgeable vet we ever had. They do not push treatment on you, they work with you and the main priority is your pet.

Always a great experience. I was here yesterday after my dog was bitten by another dog and they took her back right away and eased my mind that it was only a minor flesh wound.

I LOVE Valley Vet! They are always there for our pets and us too! We are proud to be Dr. Shreiber's 7th customer!!! They "GET" it there! All of them! We can not thank everyone at Valley Vet enough for everything!!!!!

Thank you all for your wonderful support and care of my beloved Lilly. You made her and I so comfortable as we said good-bye. It’s never easy to let go of your pet, but even though my heart was breaking you took great care of her. I don’t know how you do what you do, but I appreciate more than you’ll ever know.

- Jennifer A.
